Lawn Scarification
Why
Scarification is the process of removing thatch from your lawn. Thatch is natural organic matter that forms in your lawn, but if it becomes too thick, it can suffocate grass roots, weakening the lawn and allowing the growth of weeds and moss. Frequent scarification is a core element of good lawn care.
What
We use specialist mechanical scarifying equipment, which cuts through and extracts moss and thatch from your lawn. Our experienced team assesses the needs of your lawn and apply our very high professional standards of care to ensure the scarification treatment for your lawn is tailored to your needs.
When
Scarification is best done during the out-of-season period, which is usually Spring and Autumn. Lawns can look untidy after the treatment and so it is best to avoid doing it at times when you need your lawn looking in top shape.
